Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of website design, hosting, maintenance, and related services offered by Green Thoughts Consulting Corp. d/b/a Core Web Launch (“GTC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By purchasing a website, subscription, hosting service, or related service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Core Web Launch creates and maintains small-business websites using information provided by the customer.

Services may include:

  • Website design and setup
  • Website hosting
  • Security updates
  • Website backups
  • Limited maintenance and content edits
  • Domain connection assistance
  • Website migration assistance

The exact services included depend on the plan selected.

2. Free Website Preview

Before purchasing, a prospective customer may receive one free website preview.

The preview:

  • Is provided once per business.
  • May remain available for up to fourteen (14) days.
  • Includes one round of factual corrections.
  • Does not create any obligation to purchase.

If no purchase is made, preview-related content and data may be deleted after ninety (90) days.

All preview websites remain the property of GTC unless purchased.

3. Monthly Ownership Plan

Initial Payment

When you enroll in the Monthly Ownership Plan, you authorize an immediate, nonrefundable setup payment of $297.

Monthly Charges

Thirty (30) days after signup, you authorize recurring charges of $107 per month until canceled or until ownership transfers under Section 4.

The Monthly Ownership Plan includes:

  • Hosting
  • Website backups
  • Software and security updates
  • One minor website edit per calendar month

Unused monthly edits do not roll over.

4. Ownership Transfer Under Monthly Plan

Until ownership transfers, GTC retains ownership of the website and grants you a limited license to use it during your subscription.

Ownership transfers to you once you have paid a total of $939, consisting of:

  • The $297 setup payment; and
  • Six monthly payments of $107.

Upon reaching $939 in total payments:

  • Ownership of the website transfers to you.
  • You may continue hosting with GTC or move the website elsewhere.
  • You may obtain a copy of the website under Section 8.

For clarity, ownership transfer does not include GTC’s internal development methods, reusable templates, tools, workflows, or proprietary systems.

5. Early Buyout Option

If you cancel before paying a total of $939, you may purchase ownership of the website by paying the difference between:

  1. Amounts already paid; and
  2. $939.

Example:

If you have paid $618, you may obtain ownership by paying an additional $321.

Upon payment of the remaining balance, ownership transfers to you under the same terms described in Section 4.

If the remaining balance is not paid:

  • Hosting will terminate at the end of the applicable notice period.
  • Website files will not be released.
  • Ownership remains with GTC.

6. Outright Purchase Plan

Customers may purchase a website outright for a one-time payment of $945.

Ownership transfers immediately upon payment.

This purchase does not include ongoing hosting, maintenance, or edits unless separately purchased.

There is no automatic annual renewal associated with the outright purchase.

7. Optional Hosting After Ownership

After obtaining ownership through either plan, you may purchase optional hosting services from GTC for $47 per month.

This hosting plan includes:

  • Hosting
  • Routine updates
  • Backups

This hosting plan does not include monthly content edits.

Hosting may be canceled with thirty (30) days’ notice.

8. Website Files and Migration

After ownership has transferred:

Website Copy

You may request one electronic copy of the website files at no charge.

Migration Assistance

If you request that GTC move the website to another hosting provider, GTC may perform the migration for a one-time fee of $100.

Migration timelines may vary based on the destination provider and technical requirements.

9. Customer Content

You retain ownership of:

  • Your business name
  • Logos you provide
  • Photos you provide
  • Written content you provide
  • Domain names you own

You represent that you have the right to use any materials you provide.

You agree to indemnify GTC from claims arising from materials supplied by you.

10. Images, Logos, and Placeholder Content

If you do not provide images or logos, GTC may use:

  • Licensed stock photography
  • Clearly identified placeholder content

GTC will not use computer-generated or AI-generated photos or logos on a customer’s live website unless specifically disclosed and approved.

AI-generated content may appear on demonstration or sample websites that are clearly identified as examples.

11. Billing Authorization

By submitting payment through Stripe, you authorize:

  • The initial charge displayed at checkout.
  • Any recurring charges disclosed at checkout.
  • Charges associated with services you actively purchase.

Billing is processed by Stripe or its affiliated payment providers.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate payment information.

12. Cancellation

Monthly Ownership Plan

You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal or another method designated by GTC.

Cancellation becomes effective thirty (30) days after notice is received.

No cancellation fee applies.

Hosting Plan

Optional hosting may also be canceled with thirty (30) days’ notice.

13. Refunds

Payments are nonrefundable.

Because customers receive a free preview before purchase, all sales are final once payment is submitted.

However, if you believe:

  • A billing error occurred;
  • An unauthorized charge occurred; or
  • GTC made a processing mistake,

you agree to contact us first so we may investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

14. Service Availability

GTC will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain website availability.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Downtime may occur due to:

  • Hosting provider issues
  • Software updates
  • Security events
  • Internet disruptions
  • Circumstances beyond our control

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTC’s total liability arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

GTC shall not be liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost business opportunities
  • Lost data
  • Consequential damages
  • Indirect damages
  • Special damages

16. Termination for Misuse

GTC may suspend or terminate services if a customer:

  • Uses the website for unlawful purposes;
  • Violates these Terms;
  • Attempts unauthorized access to systems; or
  • Uses the services in a manner that creates legal or security risk.

17. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the Core Web Launch Privacy Policy.

Third-party providers may include:

  • Stripe
  • Cloudflare
  • Google services

Additional providers may be added from time to time.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute shall be brought in the courts located in Hamilton County, Tennessee, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
